Visual Identity for a Concept Album
The project demonstrates how visual identity can extend beyond packaging, creating a cohesive system that translates atmosphere, narrative, and emotion into a unified graphic experience.
Challenge
Develop a visual identity that captures the emotional atmosphere of a fictional album, translating sound, memory, and landscape into a cohesive graphic language that extends across physical and digital formats.
LAST STOP captures the lingering warmth that remains long after sunset. Inspired by the atmosphere of deserted highways, abandoned stations, and landscapes slowly fading from memory, the project explores the quiet tension between movement and stillness. It evokes a place that feels both familiar and distant, suspended somewhere between a final destination and the road that continues beyond it.
A palette of warm orange and weathered reds drifts throughout the visual identity like dust carried by dry desert winds, while layered textures suggest traces of smoke, worn metal, and surfaces shaped by time. Together, these elements create a cinematic atmosphere that feels nostalgic, rugged, and quietly mysterious, allowing the artwork to echo the emotional landscape of the music rather than simply illustrate it.
